In my group for the video project I was the person in charge of making the graphics, but I also helped out to complete the other roles because we had a smaller group. For the first two days we were planning and researching on our topic, then I got to making logos for our PSA. It took me some time to think of unique logos, but we eventually agreed on a professional-looking logo to put in our video. My partner and I worked together to make the script, and he also made a storyboard to plan out the shots of our video. When we went outside for recording I made sure to get things done quickly and with a plan. My partner and I took multiple shots of each scene and attempted a few different camera angles as well. Because Premiere can only be used on one computer to effectively edit a group’s film, my partner worked with the video on his computer, and I gave suggestions. We worked together to choose which clips we thought were the best and how to edit them. In the end we both filled each other’s roles somewhat, but we also made sure to do the core things of our role before filling another. This helped to make the project go efficiently, even without a third member of our group. Of course though, our work did end up being rushed because our videos will be presented tomorrow and we had just gotten to editing today. Overall I think my partner and I equally contributed towards our final product, checking each other’s work along the way to make sure we weren’t doing anything completely wrong.
